When the war in Ukraine broke out in February 2022, the team at Kobalt Digital felt they had to act. In just one week, we co-founded and built a platform that connected Dutch households with Ukrainian refugees — a place to donate items you no longer need to people who need them most. Kids received toys and smiled. Families found furniture and clothes. The platform spread rapidly across the Netherlands and is still active today. Since then, the platform has grown beyond Ukraine and been renamed to Goods for Refugees — now supporting refugees from multiple countries.
